I love caprese salad. It’s such a fresh and simple salad option that only requires a few ingredients: tomatoes, mozzarella, and basil. With a splash of olive oil, and some salt and pepper—you’re done! What I love about this version is that you use either cherry or grape tomatoes and small mozzarella balls. That way, each element of the salad is the same size (I love consistency!)
This is the perfect salad to make for a simple lunch or served alongside grilled chicken or fish for dinner.
