About

I’ve never met a cheese plate I didn’t love. No matter where I go, I can’t turn down a scoop Meg-blogof homemade ice cream. And there’s nothing I enjoy more than spending my Sundays cooking up a storm in the kitchen, as the aromas of sautéing onions and garlic and freshly baked banana bread waft through the air.

After growing up in New York and Pennsylvania, I now live in the Boston, Massachusetts area. Although I’m not professionally trained, I’ve been cooking and baking since I was a young child, helping my mom prepare dinners for our family. My mom and Polish grandma, my Babci, instilled a love of cooking in me – and to this day, I try to recreate their dishes for my loved ones. For me, a home-cooked meal is one of the best ways to not only share your talents with those you love, but also to show them how much you love them. Food is home. Food is comfort. Food is happiness.

I also fancy myself a bit of a world traveler. As a writer for a travel company by day, I find myself dreaming of visiting far away lands. I’ve been fortunate enough to have already visited five continents (Africa, Asia, the South Pacific, Europe, and North America), where I’ve explored each destination’s beautiful landscapes, incredible and diverse cultures, and most importantly, dived right into the cuisine.

In this blog, I share my passion for all things food, whether attempting new recipes in my kitchen, partaking in a cooking class, or checking out a new restaurant. So join me as I take you along on my culinary adventures at home … and around the globe.

Bon appétit!
Meghan

Hi Megan. My name is Rosemarie and I worked with your mom for many years. She forwarded your blog to me and several others. I have been reading about your restaurant visits and your many delicious recipes and have thoroughly enjoyed everything I have read. You did a great job and I plan to keep reading. Of course knowing your mom, I am not surprised how good your blog is.
